Serious allegations have been leveled against Zaid Khan, the lead actor of the film Cult, and its director Anil Kumar. Zaid Khan, son of Minister Zamir, is emerging as a rising star in the Kannada film industry. Recently, a disturbing incident took place in Bengaluru, where a drone technician allegedly attempted suicide due to the actions of a film crew, which includes Zayed Khan. The situation has caused serious concern and is currently under investigation. Santosh, a drone technician, was reported to have attempted suicide, with the incident taking place under the jurisdiction of Magadi police station in Bengaluru. On October 21, Santosh was working as a drone technician during the shooting of the film Cult in Chitradurga. He was well known in the industry, had worked on numerous film projects and owned his own drone equipment.

Santhosh used to charge Rs 25,000 per day for drone services and buy his own drones to work independently. To finance his equipment, he borrowed Rs 25 lakh and used his drone skills in various films, including Yuva.

During the shooting of Zaid Khan’s film in Chitradurga, Santosh worked in risky conditions. While filming, the drone he was flying collided with a wind blower, causing significant damage as it broke into pieces. After this incident, Santosh was charged with failure to compensate for damages caused by the damage.

At the center of the controversy is the film Cult, produced by Zayed Khan. Feeling overwhelmed by the situation, Santosh reportedly tried to commit suicide by hanging himself. Luckily, his family found him in time and rushed him to the hospital, where he received immediate care. Santosh has since been discharged and is recovering. A case has been registered at the Magadi traffic police station regarding this incident.

Malaika Vasupal and Rachita Ram have been chosen to play the female leads in the upcoming film after Zayed Khan’s earlier on-screen pairing with Sonal Monteiro in Banaras. The film also boasts of a talented cast, including veteran actors like Rangayana Raghu and Achyuth Kumar. Directed by Anil Kumar, Cult is described as a youth film that aims to reflect the energy and aspirations of young people through the storyline.
